Ball Ornaments With Washi-Tape
Have your kid mask the surface of a distinct shatterproof decoration with one color of washi tape. Then wrap a few stripes of contrasting colors on top; the relatively see-through tape generated a chilly set aside when layered. Composed the tape down, but do not get too intricate trying to get it to lie perfectly horizontal (the rounded surface makes it impossible). The key with this activity, be sure to get shatterproof bulb ornaments to start to avoid any accidents!
Elf Friends
- Wrap a wine cork in felt, and procure with glue. Then glue a 1-in. wooden bead on top.
- Tie a 1/2-x-3-in. strip of felt where the bead meets the cork.
- Roll and glue a 2 1/2 -x-1-in. triangle of felt into a cone; glue to the top of the bead.
- Cut little slits on the sides of the body felt and click two 1 1/2-in. pieces of formulate cable into the cork. Spin little beads more than cable ends and twist them to make hands.
- Insert two 3-in. pieces of cable into the cork base and spin barrel beads more than ends and twist for feet.
